General Etiquette

🙟 All members must be 20+

No exceptions. Those who are caught lying during or after the application or opening will be swiftly banned from Society!

🙟 Be respectful to other members!

While we all love OC drama, above else, we want to foster a positive environment for all our members. Please understand that OC =/= OOC, and we won't tolerate isolation, harassment, hate speech, or anything in between. Should any instance arise that isn't addressed, please feel free to message a mod.
We are here for you all!

🙟 Please keep all chat topics in respective chats.

We all get a little carried away, and we encourage yapping to your hearts content! But please -- for example -- keep NSFW talk instead of the NSFW channels, or make an effort to migrate to designated channels to continue chatting.

🙟 There will be a 3 Strike System.

Any rule breaking will be subject to review, with immediate banning in serious situations.

🙟 Estia Faire will include and have various aspects of social drama.

This may include sabotage, spreading false [positive or negative] rumors, as well as other topics.

Roleplay Etiquette

🙟 Basic RP Rules apply here.

No God-modding, no ship chasing, no gaming the system, ect. ect. Ask for permission if and when topics start to head toward trigger territory, openly communicate, respect members and ocs, and please, don't be afraid to voice yourself with concerns

🙟 Remember that OC and OOC is and needs a clear seperation.

Drama, rumors and character dynamics are super important in this group -- that being said, please be aware that anything that happens to your ocs -- such as infighting between two ocs -- is not retaliation or anything directed towards you specifically.
But keep in mind that this should be kept exclusively in character. Keep personal beef out of RP, and should an rp you participate in gives you discomfort or you feel pressured, please talk to your rp companion or contact a mod.

If your rp will delve into some serious or triggering topics, please tag it properly in the title!

While you can get risque in threads (kiss kiss fall in love), please don't RP NSFW in server -- use a fade to black method or skip it into dms.

We're all adults with busy lives, so practicing a bit of patience is key! This group is ultimately casual, after all~!

🙟 Be considerate if roleplaying prejudice & follow these rules:

In Estia Faire, some forms of prejudice will be allowed to be addressed but they are exclusively around wealth and status. FANTASY RACISM IS NOT ACCEPTABLE IN THIS GROUP. If you wish to play a prejudiced character, keep it to topics of wealth and status. Yes, some humans will face prejudice due to being humans but this is moreso in regards to them not having magic. Fae who come from fallen islands and have lost their magic will experience similar. In a way they're just a foreign concept to the rich and noble fae, or in the case of fallen islands - someone to pity.

Some examples I would accept:

"You're telling me humans best form of transport is horses. Your carriages are pulled by horses?! Horses, Harold! When was the last time you saw them used for anything other than racing?"

"You mean to tell me you have no magic and are...perfectly content as such? However do you get anything done. What an odd society."

"Humans are so quaint and simple. They must live such happy lives."

Stuff I would NOT consider acceptable.

Calling another OC with loaded racial terms like beast/savage/mongrel. Because, although beastkins are a thing in Estia Faire, these terms are used discriminatorily in the real world. It crosses a line.

Basically any situation in which: if the races were changed from fantasy creatures to human races then it would be unacceptable irl. Eg. Not allowing a fairy to enter the store for fear they'd steal something.

If you're concerned what would be considered acceptable, err on the side of caution and avoid it. If someone has crossed a line please DM a mod immediately.
